Description:

Owners of the Tempest Weather System by WeatherFlow-Tempest, Inc. will find a new feature beneficial. A locally displayed console has been introduced to exhibit weather observations and forecasts on a single screen in real-time. It includes daily and hourly forecasts for up to 7 days.

The "Home" view presents essential data like temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind gusts, rainfall, sky conditions, UV, Lux, solar radiation, sunrise, and sunset. An alternate display option with enlarged basics for distant viewing is available.

The "Storm" view offers all the aforementioned data excluding sky conditions. Instead, it features a live weather radar map for the location—automatically updating during stormy weather for quick access with the tap of an icon.

The "Forecast" view shows detailed hyper-local forecasts for 7 days and hourly forecasts for the same periods.

Installation and setup are quick, taking less than 5 minutes. The weather readings are streamed in real-time to your device securely, ensuring privacy. Exclusive data access is granted only to approved devices.

Teapot for Tempest supports Nearcast compatibility and offers a unique rainfall calibration feature to enhance rainfall accuracy by comparing with other collectors. Adjustments can be made non-destructively using a simple slider.

Teapot permits light or dark mode selections while providing its weather radar map through Apple Maps with RainViewer radar data. Users can embed alternative maps of their preference easily by providing the URL.

Teapot for Tempest is available in the Apple App Store with a subscription requirement. Annual and monthly subscription plans are offered with support for Family Sharing.
